Success in Nursing

Anything is possible!

I had to pay my own way through college, and I know I'm not the only one on this site to have to do that. So I did the long way, LVN, then ADN, and right after I went back for my BSN, while working full time as a new RN in Critical Care. Everyone told me I shouldn't, but I did. I'm not learning a whole lot (atleast not enough to be completely on my own) because of the environment. My nurse (LVN training me) has been very patient and as helpful as she can be while still taking care of 17+ patients at a time. She said...

OB Rotations

I've got OB/Peds this fall, and I'd like to know what some of you had to during your OB rotations. What else is typically required during OB? For example, are you forced to rotate through the nursery, etc?

Regional Discussion - Colorado

Any insight on Centura?

Anyone have any insight on Centura? I know they are a large nonprofit faith based hospital system. What's the working environment like? Starting pay? How do they compare to other area hospitals? Thanks for any info!
