Help with Care Plans
Every single nursing diagnosis has its own set of symptoms, or defining characteristics. They are listed in the NANDA taxonomy and in many of the current nursing care plan books that are currently on the market that include nursing diagnosis information. You need to have access to these books when you are working on care plans. There are currently 188 nursing diagnoses that NANDA has defined and given related factors and defining characteristics for. What you need to do is get this information to help you in writing care plans so you diagnose your patients correctly.

Why would nurses voluntarily sign up at for profit schools?
One of the most frequent questions I get asked by my colleagues in a new unit is "where did you go to school?" I would be horrified and embarrassed if I had to reply with "University of Phoenix," "Kaplan," or "The Grand Canyon." Why are those schools so attractive?

Private loan and no cosigner
I applied for sallie mae and got approved but with a high interest rate. I most likely will not accept the loan. Does anybody know how many times you can apply for a loan without affecting your credit score. Also, does anybody know where you can get a loan other than sallie mae without a cosigner?

Commuting for Accredited school vs Non Accredited?
My choices are between two non-accredited private nursing programs (Southeastern College and Rasmussen College) that are less than 20 minutes away, and Keiser University which is accredited by NCNAC and CCNE an hour drive for me. Is accreditation important?

I HATE the NCLEX, and I'm starting to doubt that I'll ever pass it.
Everyone told me to do questions, and not to get bogged down with details in the content. They said you have to learn the styles of questions the test asks and learn how to avoid the traps. So, I did the questions in that Saunders review book, did the questions on a CD that came with the book, and got a Kaplan review book from a local library and did those questions too. I did thousands of questions ... and FAILED AGAIN.
