Critique my NCLEX pn study plan

1. Read kaplan nclex pn 6th edition have not taken assessment test in the back of the book yet (will after gone through all Saunders ?)

2. Saunders doing the Cd on study mode content select all (all 3,625?s) writing down what I get wrong so I can go back and review.

3. Already did exam cram test ? redoing the ? I got wrong and reviewing rationales.

How I passed the NCLEX the 2nd time around

I took the NCLEX for the first time in September 2011, after a move from NY to ATL. Needless to say, I didnt study much and winged it. I failed. After seeing that I failed, I cried for two days straight. Then I was determined to pass.

I signed up for the Kaplan course. I took it online and would highly recommend it. Before my online class started, I did the Diagnostic test, QT1, QT2, QT3 and REVIEWED my weak areas! Where can I find clinical stories when I don't have my own yet?

I am a second semester nursing student, and I am writing an Ethics paper on the concept of Advocacy. I have made my arguments and such (actually I could say much more), but I need a clinical story/patient example that has to do with advocacy.

I really wanted a story that shows the "thin line" between advocacy and paternalism and a case where the nurse must make a difficult ethical decision. In this context, if the nurse is trying to fulfill the ideal of beneficence (doing only good) and how that conflicts with autonomy. Read More...
