Do you feel at all limited when it comes to your medical knowledge? If I want to become a "medical dictionary" can I do this as a nurse?

Does the shot mess with your DNA?

The problem is that the vaccine has not been tested in any long-term studies, so, this is more of an experiment. We don't know whether or not the DNA gets permanently changed. We're talking about something that's not supposed to be in your body that can bind to the surface of your cells and possibly may not be able to be reversed. Am I missing something?

Is seeing a pt in Preop really a must for OR nurses??

Where I practiced before the nurses took them patients back to the room, so it was never an issue, we just interviewed right before coming back. The Director is questioning if this practice of seeing a patient prior is necessary, as our anesthesia teams bring them back and in theory preop is supposed to do everything to prep the patient prior to surgery.
