Should I switch Nursing Schools after finishing my 1st semester?

I have been in tears for 2 days now with this internal conflict that I am having about leaving my current nursing school for another. I started one of those small, expensive, private nursing schools after completing all of my prerequisites with a 3.76 GPA from my local community college. Why I went into nursing

My interest sparked in nursing when my children and I went through a difficult situation. My oldest child ended up spending several months in the hospital due to the burn injury. She is my reason for wanting to become a nurse. I hope one day I can make my patients feel as special as she made my daughter. Read More...

I've been accepted to an LPN program and start classes August 20th. In orientation I heard a lot about how important it will be to have a study group. While I'm not a loner socially, I have always preferred to study alone, in the same place and with all my own materials around me, usually listening to one of my many customized study stations on Pandora. Difference between the TEAS and SAT/ACT?

How much of a difference is there between the TEAS test and the SAT/ACT?

I am pretty sure I will have to retake the SAT or take the ACT bc my score 13 years ago was a 910. Although I've always been a great student, I am a horrible test taker. I get severe anxiety and literally block out everything I've studied.

I'm already nervous and overwhelmed about the TEAS, so taking the SAT/ACT only adds to it. Will I have to review more things or is it basically the same stuff? Read More...
