The US is Officially Nuts: Judges now telling hospitals how to treat COVID patients
A man was in the ICU for COVID. The wife asked the physicians to prescribe Ivermectin. They refused saying it wouldn't help and could interfere with treatment that does work. Wife went to a Dr associated with Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance who gave her a prescription for her husband. Hospital refused to administer it. She went to court and got a judge to force the hospital to administer it.

How do I stop being so emotional as a new nurse?
In LTC I have caught myself having to go to the med room and cry multiple times. Not because of the stress of work, but because I am very empathetic and I feel like I take on every emotion of some of these clients. Is this just part of being a new nurse and does it get better?

Covid and Non-Covid on Same Floor?
I am on my second assignment and of course COVID started again. This particular facility was a hot spot before and of course it's a hotspot again. What I don’t understand is why they put COVID patients on the same floors as non COVID patients. I don’t know why, but this feels much more stressful. Is this common?

Was I in the Right Here?
Patient is verbally aggressive. I stand in his door way and tell him point blank: I do not feel safe walking into your room, so I’m not going to be helping you until you can behave in a way that shows me I can feel safe approaching you. Well this made him angry and I walk away. Did I did the right thing here?
