Nursing, the field of medicine or customer service?

I'm sorry, but I didn't realize I signed up to please the customer. While the nurses go around reminding the patients this is a hospital, not a hotel, we get notices that we SHOULD make these people feel like they're in a hotel. Or "even if you know they're wrong, you should apologize and let them know that they're right" THIS IS AN ACTUAL MEMO THAT APPEARED IN MY MAILBOX.

Imagine the effect the discovery of an alternate source of energy would have on our country and our economy – perhaps garbage from landfills could be used as cheap, clean, and “green” sources of energy. This would liberate us forever from dependence on foreign oil. Perhaps the cures for AIDS, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease are right around the corner. Future generations would be spared an enormous toll of human suffering. I personally believe we are on the threshold of these types of research breakthroughs.
